The film is adapted from the novel "Night of Plants" written by Eduardo Saccheri, the original author of "Mysterious Eyes". It tells the story of a group of small town neighbors, led by former football player Fermín (Ricardo), who are seeking to recover the money they were defrauded of by shady lawyers and corrupt bank executives.
