Plot:
In 1953, Stan Laurel and Oliver "Babe" Hardy were the world's most popular comedy duo, touring the UK's variety halls. As they aged and their golden age as the kings of Hollywood comedy came to an end, they faced an uncertain future. The duo began touring the country to disappointingly small audiences, but they always made each other laugh, the charm and beauty of their performances shone through the audience's laughter, and they reconnected with their legions of adoring fans, both new and old.
