The girl Veronica (Richardson) found out that she was pregnant. She had to go on the road with her "former" friend Bailey (Ferreira) who had a car to seek a legal abortion: Veronica's boyfriend was a coward, and she herself didn't want to be a mother so young, otherwise it would affect her dream of attending an Ivy League school.
