Plot:
The girl Veronica (Richardson) found out that she was pregnant. She had to go on the road with her "former" friend Bailey (Ferreira) who had a car to seek a legal abortion: Veronica's boyfriend was a coward, and she herself didn't want to be a mother so young, otherwise it would affect her dream of attending an Ivy League school. However, her state of Missouri required minors to have their parents' consent to have an abortion, and her parents disagreed. Veronica decided to travel 900 miles to New Mexico to have an abortion and then go home. Veronica was a good student who was addicted to Instagram, had excellent grades, and was ambitious, while Bailey was a lonely, sharp-tongued queer who had zero tolerance for Veronica's new friends. The two of them set out on the road with this goal in mind, and made mistakes along the way, which was both touching and humorous.
