Plot:
Edmond Rostand (Thomas Soliwell) is almost 30 years old. After getting married and having children, his creative work has fallen into a slump. The anxiety of running out of ideas makes this 19th-century Parisian playwright depressed. Then the muse comes, a heart-warming girl who announces the mockery of fate. He can only help his friend to pursue the girl, while turning the love affair into a joke, transcending all jealousy and madness, and finally becoming a generation of comedy heroes and a masterpiece that he wrote and rehearsed at the same time. Today, everyone knows "Cyrano de Bergerac", and its birth is even more legendary. Cannes Film Festival winner Olivier Gourmet plays the drama master Coglan, who strives to give birth to a masterpiece and adds supreme charm to the film.
