Anne (Sandra Bullock) and Jack's relationship did not come to an end. The lost Anne decided not to fall in love with the SWAT anymore. Her current boyfriend Alex (Jason Patric) hid his SWAT identity for love, but was still exposed, so he took Anne to the Caribbean for vacation as compensation. On their cruise ship, there is a dangerous person lurking - the engineer who designed the ship's operating system, Kiger (Willem Dafoe). Kiger was terminally ill but was fired. In retaliation, he took control of the ship's automatic navigation system and filled the ship with bombs. The captain had to abandon the ship with the passengers.
