"Arnang the Magistrate" is set in the Joseon Dynasty. It tells the story of a young county magistrate who meets a female ghost who died unjustly. With the help of the female ghost, he solves various mysteries and finally helps the female ghost to avenge her. Lee Joon-gi will play the newly appointed young county magistrate "Kim Eun-oh" in the play, while Shin Min-ah will play the female ghost "Arnang" who has been wandering in the world because of her unjust death. "Arnang the Magistrate" started filming on May 23, 2012. As the follow-up to "IDOIDO" starring Kim Sun-ah and Lee Jang-woo, it will premiere on MBC TV in South Korea at 20:55 Beijing time on July 25 (21:55 Korean time).
