Abraham is an 88-year-old Jewish tailor who is leaving Buenos Aires for Poland, where he will look for the man who saved his life during the Nazi occupation. Against all odds, and after having heard nothing about his benefactor for nearly 70 years, Abraham does everything he can to try to find his old friend and fulfill his promise: when they meet one day, Abraham will tell him about his wonderful life.
