In the US military withdrawal 2021, during a rescue mission, a group of missionaries are evacuated from an Afghan village, and a Navy SEAL helicopter is shot down by a group of insurgents. Richard Mirko (Johnny Strong), a team leader of the Navy SEALs, is thrown from the wreckage and miraculously survives the plane crash. Mirko continues his search for the missionaries, but discovers that their vehicle has been ambushed and the only survivor: an injured 5-year-old child. Mirko must now guide the child to safety through the challenges of hostile insurgents and survive in the harsh Afghan wilderness.
