The spacecraft crashed on an unknown planet, and the pilot Mills (Adam Driver) found himself trapped on Earth 65 million years ago. With only one chance to be rescued, he and the only other survivor, Koya (Ariana Greenblatt), had to survive in this unknown environment full of dangerous prehistoric creatures.
