Wei Xiaobao (Zhang Weijian), who is unlearned but smart, has been performing with his mother in Yangzhou Lichunyuan since he was a child to make a living. He has been childhood sweethearts with his beloved little goldfish (Shu Qi). His ordinary life was completely changed by an accident.
