Kuronuma Shoko (Minami Sara) is a freshman in high school. For some reason, she has a hard time getting along with her classmates. Because of her long black hair and pale skin, she is nicknamed "Sadako". However, a boy ignores the rumors and takes the initiative to be her friend, bringing hope to her lonely campus life. This boy is none other than Kazehaya Shota (Suzuka Yoshi). Not only is he funny, he is also the man of the class, and everyone likes to be his friend. After meeting Shota, Shoko slowly opens up to other classmates and begins to enjoy high school life, but her feelings towards Shota gradually change.
