The series is adapted from the novel "A Moment of Impulse, Seven Lives of Misfortune" by writer Jiu Lu Fei Xiang. It tells the story of Xiang Yun (played by Yang Chaoyue), a little fairy in the Marriage Pavilion, and Chu Kong (played by Ding Yuxi), the fairy king, who were accidentally connected by the ancient red thread and became a couple bound to each other through tribulations, which led to a series of romantic, joyful, and eventful stories of love for seven lives.
