Joo Young-soo (Kim Myung-min) is a lawyer who lives a happy life with his wife Min-jeong (Park Joo-mi). Together, they raise their child, Hye-lin (Kim So-hyun). Joo Young-soo believes that it is because of the Lord's protection that he can live such a happy life. However, an accident completely shattered Joo Young-soo's belief. The kidnappers kidnapped young Hye-lin, and the two have been missing since then. At first, Joo Young-soo and his wife firmly believed that Hye-lin would be able to return safely, but as time went by, this determination gradually shattered into dust.
