The story takes place in the not too distant future, where humanity is on the verge of extinction. The police drones originally created by humans to protect themselves have killed humans on a large scale. One of the survivors is soldier Talisto, who is mostly human and spends his days clearing and dodging police drones. He has become a reluctant soldier.
