The film tells the story of Chen Dongnan (Cui Zhijia), a middle-aged writer who has accomplished nothing. He travels back to 20 years ago because of a car accident and meets his younger self. In order to make up for the regrets of his youth, the middle-aged Chen Dongnan helps the young Chen Dongnan (Diao Biao) to bravely pursue love and fight back, and tries his best to save his first love Shen Li (Wang Qianguo), staging a hilarious and wonderful story full of mistakes.
