Reporter Choi Yoo-jin (played by Yoo Seung-ryong) pursues a clue that the death row inmate Kim Jong-gu ate a delicious soybean paste soup when he was arrested, and then finds out that the woman who made soybean paste soup, Jang Hye-jin (played by Lee Yo-won), and the wealthy man who was a sewer cleaner, Cho Sung-ha, died in a car accident. Yoo Seung-ryong shifts the focus of the news event to the production of soybean paste, and finally discovers the "tragic" love story of Lee Yo-won and Lee Dong-wook behind the delicious soybean paste, as well as the many reasons for the deliciousness.
