This play is adapted from the sixth book in the original "Cormoran Strike" series, "The Ink Black Heart". When a disheveled and frantic Edie Ledwell shows up at her office, begging to talk to her, private investigator Robin Ellacott doesn't know what to do. Edie, the co-creator of the hit comic "Black Heart," is being persecuted by a mysterious online personality who goes by the pseudonym Anomie. Edie is desperate to uncover Anomie's true identity. Robin thought the firm couldn't help, so he didn't think much more about it. Until a few days later, she read a shocking piece of news: Edie was electrocuted and killed in Highgate Cemetery, where the story of "Black Heart" takes place. Robin and her business partner Cormoran Strike began to explore Anomie's true identity. But faced with a complex web of online aliases, business interests and family conflicts, Strike and Robin find themselves embroiled in a case that pushes them to their breaking points.
